The Adventure:

Hork visited Kyriellen to buy some potions. Shain ventured to the dwarven ghetto in the first level of the Shambles, and arranged to purchase a masterwork dwarven waraxe from Fazark, a smith of clan Belfin. Cecil tried to sell the extra set of masterwork thieves' tools he found in the dungeons, and ended up making arrangements with Rekyll to find a buyer. The group then ventured out of the Shambles, into the commercial ring of T'Regnor, to sell some excess weapons and armor they had found in the dungeon. Peter ran afoul of a bucket of dishwater, and a working crew heckled and harassed Hork. After selling their goods, the group headed back to the Shambles. On the way, Cecil decided to lift the purse of a likely target, but was caught and stabbed by the man. The party scattered, followed at a distance by the town guards. Cecil ducked into a jeweler's shop as the others vanished. Cecil made small talk with the clerk there at “The House of Larin,” and successfully avoided detection.

After that, the group returned to the Hollow Leg for another trip into the dungeons. They headed once again to the first level. Returning to the area with the fountain, they took the other exit from that place and explored until they found a semi-familiar body near a door. Opening the door, they found a room whose carpet was covered with bloodstains and the remnants of an old fire. There was a strange brick wall, very out of place, in one corner. They were then attacked by a humanoid who seemed to be made of mirror stuff—he even reflected himself so that he looked like many. The party defeated him quickly, and then turned their attention to the odd brick wall. Shain started tearing it down with a crowbar, making a good deal of noise. Before long, they attracted the attention of another adventuring group, who warily called out to them for a parley. Only the group's henchman, Ernye, identified himself. The groups agreed to let the others go in piece, though the NPC group had a member who giggled strangely, at inappropriate moments. Peter detected that one of the bricks was magical, and kept it for himself.

Next, the group followed the other party for a bit, finding they'd ventured into the strange black room. They decided to leave them there, and go back up a different sewer line. Cecil disabled the fire trap. After a while they found an old tavern door with a sign of a dancing skeleton. They entered what appeared to be a ruined tavern. As they explored, three skeletons rose up and attacked them. They beat the skeletons. They found a key hanging under the old bar, and kept it. As they left, another of the mirror men appeared, and attacked the group, wounding two of them before falling. The group decided to leave after that, although they had found very little treasure.
