The Adventure:

Going to the Hollow Leg one October night, the characters note that the streets of the Shambles are eerily empty. Moreover, the door to the tavern is closed! Cecil, for some reason, yells "Stella!" very loud. The characters hear snuffling and shambling in the distance. Bartholomew opens the door to the tavern and hurries them in, telling them that the yelling has the drawn the attention of unspecified bad guys. He tells them to be ready, as the tavern will be attacked soon.

The characters arrange themselves for battle, and soon the door to the tavern is broken down by a horde of zombies!! Lots and lots of zombies!! There's a big fight, and the characters win.

Bartholomew explains that sometimes, strange things happen in T'Regnor that cannot be explained or found in the city normally. He hints that these creatures may come from another plane, another time, or both. The effects are usually localized, and are considered normal hauntings by the locals. The phenomenon has happened more frequently, though, since the appearance of the Sudden Mountain three years ago.

(Note: in this game, the characters were represented on the battlemat by various chocolate candies. The role of the zombies was played by bits of uneaten french fries.)
