The Adventure:

Well, the party left the dungeon. Then they came back. Gwalchavad and Gawyn arrived at the tavern early, and decided to brave the dungeon alone. They descended to the second level, and in the first room the reflected light of their lanterns attracted a patrol of six goblins! Outmatched and outnumbered, the twins fight valiantly. Gwalchavad gets knocked out, and things look very bad. Luckily, the rest of the party arrives in the midst of the fight and turns the tide. The goblins yell for help, and soon a pitched battle is underway. The original six goblins get defeated, and Lola gets Gwalchavad back on his feet, but then another nine goblins join the fray! Ack!! In the end, the party is victorious, but Gwalchavad is unconscious again. Happy but spent, the party retreats from the dungeon, taking note of where the goblins emerged from.

Two days later, they return to search for the goblin lair. Tracking the goblins back along their route, they come into an empty room, all walls mirrored as everything else on the level seems to be. In a flash, javelins come flying out of the mirrors! It takes a moment for the characters to convince themselves part of the mirrors are illusory. After that, they plow through and enter a non-mirrored room with three more goblins--in their lair. A quick fight finishes off the goblins, and the party loots the place, finding money and a bluish steel sphere. There's a non-mirrored corridor leading out of the lair. The party decides to explore it.

Wending their way through the labyrinth, they come back to a mirrored stretch of corridor and decide to explore it. They enter a large mirrored room. Seeing themselves in the mirror, Lola and Gawyn quickly realize there's something wrong about these mirrors. The room then spits out exact duplicates of the party, and the party's mirror images attack…themselves. In a wild melee, the originals defeat the mirror images, but it's a close, close thing. Thanking their lucky stars, the party goes home.
