We are fortunate to live in the San Francisco Bay Area, in San Leandro, California. We live about fifteen miles from San Francisco. We share our place with our three cats, Jessica, Eddie and Lucy. They make us feel like parents already -- sometimes they don't get along, and sometimes they get in trouble, but mostly they just make us very happy. Our walls are lined with bookshelves, since we're both avid readers. The bookshelf in the living room holds many children's books we've saved since we were kids. Dawn is extremely proud of her kitchen, which she has spent many hours setting up just right.

Our neighborhood is very quiet, filled with historic buildings. We are within walking distance of the local library, a museum, parks, the grocery store and some really nice restaurants. We love to walk around the neighborhood, and we can't wait to share our walks with our child. Just a short drive from us is the bay shore, where we have been known to take long walks by the water in the summertime.
