Our families have been very supportive of us, especially when it comes to our adoption dreams. Our immediate family lives on the West Coast, and we visit as often as we can. Our family includes African-American, Asian and Hispanic relatives, so our child will be exposed to a number of different cultures.

Our oldest niece starts college in the fall. She is very excited about the possibility of having a cousin. She has expressed her confidence that we'll be great parents. Since she's known us since she was a little girl, that means a lot to us.

Jeff's brother works at the same company as Jeff does. He and his wife have two boys and a girl between ages one and four, so our little one will have cousins near the same age to grow up with. We always volunteer to babysit, and we cherish our special times with them.

Grandma and Grandpa Krogh are retired, and can't wait to spoil more grandchildren. Dawn grew up fishing on weekends with her parents, who are eager to teach more grandchildren the joys of catching your own fish as well.
