"Jeff really is my BFF (Best Friend Forever). We have the type of relationship I have heard people talk about and really thought didn't exist in real life. We are really friends and good companions to each other. I like that we can communicate with each other without yelling and that we are able to be respectful toward one another even when we may not agree. Jeff is a gentle man who is very caring and patient. I know he is going to be a hands-on dad especially when it comes to homework which is not my strong point! When I see Jefferson with our nieces and nephews, I know what a loving father he will be. I look forward to sharing his joy at teaching a child about baseball and painting miniatures.

"I am so happy that I have a partner who is okay with me not wanting to do everything with him and happy with the things we do enjoy together. We have fun watching TV or playing games, or even when we are each reading a different book. Sometimes, just knowing he's in the same house is enough. It's also especially really great when he takes me to Giants games to see Lou Seal and the Monterey Aquarium to see sharks, which are my favorite animals ! It's great to know that I can count on him when the going gets tough as it certainly has in the almost 10 years we've been together."
